| Résumé: | The article examines how swift trust supports collective innovation in temporary organizations. While often studied in virtual teams, swift trust remains underexplored in face-to-face interaction contexts. This research focuses on a single case study of a temporary organization created to achieve the collective innovation of 3D printing a gold piece of jewellery for the British royal family. The findings show that fundamental and regulatory mechanisms produce and sustain swift trust, enabling coordination and collaboration among partners without prior relational history. This study highlights the central role of swift trust in supporting the innovation process within an unstable context.JEL codes : M5, M12. |
