| الملخص: | This article studies the aging process of gay men. Based on twenty-nine semi-structured interviews conducted in 2018, it questions the social representation of an increased risk of becoming “old, sad, and lonely” because of their sexual orientation. This representation is reinforced by specific statistics from questionnaire surveys, indicating the decrease in the number of partners and the frequency of sexual intercourse from the age of 40. In the first part, we describe the experience of aging through the prism of the male gender. In the second part, we consider the effects of aging on sex life. |
