| 總結: | The association Les Petits Frères des Pauvres, which has been supporting older adults facing isolation and precariousness since 1946, chose to strengthen its action by supporting homeless older adults beginning in the 1990s. Their extraordinary aging path, subject to multiple vulnerability factors (health, isolation, poverty), often escapes the traditional support and accommodation arrangements for older people (opening up of pension rights, access to personalized assistance for self-help, dedicated institutions). Too old to attend facilities for people in situations of exclusion, but too young for those intended for older adults, they find themselves on the margins of such facilities and thus become invisible. Victims of the siloization of public policies, they nevertheless require multidimensional support culminating in access to individual or collective housing. In the face of these extraordinary aging paths, the volunteers and employees of the Petits Frères des Pauvres offer tailored social and relational support to find suitable housing solutions. |
