| Итог: | This article offers a reflection on the notion of commitment among social workers seen through the prism of the “Job Demands-Resources” model. This work is based on text data mining and informal interviews with social workers, in employment and in training. One observation is clear, the field of social work is undergoing profound changes, coupled with a decline in the attractiveness of social professions. Changes in the profession have tended to transform social workers from daily supporters of the most vulnerable into mere executors who must provide accountability. Nevertheless, faced with digitalization, active patient populations, bureaucratic burdens, and loss of meaning, there is space for ethical reflexivity that upholds convictions at the heart of commitment, while integrating the inherent responsibilities of this profession. This narrow path allows for resistance against the neoliberal logic that sees everything in terms of marketability. |
