| Özet: | The works of Ivan Illich (1926-2002), including posthumous publications, span almost 40 years. After a brief biographical and bibliographical overview, we will present some of the key points in his work, in particular the idea that beyond a certain threshold of development, institutions become counter-productive; the response to their dysfunction is the emergence of a convivial society. We will then take a theoretical look at the place of the school in society, before concluding with a review of articles on public management, in order to consider the role that public management can play in this debate. |
