Samenvatting:Manon: The Complexity of the Adolescent’s RequestThe request for therapy in adolescence raises the delicate and paradoxical question of economic and emotional dependence, alongside the need to grow and differentiate. The adolescent is no longer a child but is not yet an adult. Manon’s case illustrates this point. Neglecting her familial context led to a premature rupture of therapy a few months in. It was only after a discussion with Manon and her parents that a new relationship began, this time involving the parents themselves, until the natural and peaceful end of therapy.
