Περίληψη:Based on the writings of Maud Mannoni, the aim here is to explore the elements of her personal history that shed light on her future as a psychoanalyst. Her early childhood in Sri Lanka, her wandering in the Netherlands, and her studies against the backdrop of the Second World War are presented as elements of meaning, which she was able to put to work during her various periods of analysis. Maud Mannoni asks the question: “What made me an analyst?” We will add to this: “What made her ethics unique in her work with patients?”
