| Özet: | This study presents a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of the journal Finance over the past fifteen years (2009-2023). Using bibliographic coupling analysis, we examine publication patterns, citation dynamics, key research themes, and collaboration networks to assess the journal’s evolution and impact on research in finance. Our findings reveal eight thematic clusters: capital markets dynamics, portfolio management, asset pricing, market liquidity, corporate governance, debt and distress, behavioral finance, and sustainable finance. Despite major economic events during this period, we observe relative stability in the distribution of research themes, suggesting that the journal’s content is driven more by long-term research agendas than reactive responses to external shocks. The analysis highlights opportunities for further diversification into emerging areas such as FinTech, cryptocurrency, and climate finance. JEL Classifications: G30, G40, G11, G12, G13. |
