Witchcraft etiologies present the feeling of persecution through diverse polysemic representations that are cultural, spiritual, and imaginary. Using a psychodynamic interpretive framework in which intra-, inter-, and transpsychic spaces of reality are interwoven, we examine the psychic conflicts contained in these etiologies. Clinical examination of these etiologies reveals that they are driven by affective and impulsive dynamics centered on psychopathological issues that operate on several levels. They enable us to understand the relationship that the subject has with themselves, with others, and with their family heritage.Cet article est une réflexion théorique qui se concentre sur la psychopathologie des étiologies sorcellaires en contexte togolais. Les étiologies sorcellaires mettent en scène le sentiment de persécution à travers diverses représentations culturelles polysémiques, spirituelles et imaginaires. En utilisant une grille de lecture psychodynamique où s’imbriquent les espaces de réalité intra- inter- et transpsychique, nous examinons les conflits psychiques contenus dans ces étiologies. L’examen clinique de ces étiologies révèle qu’elles sont animées par des dynamiques affectives et pulsionnelles autour d’enjeux psychopathologiques qui se déclinent sur plusieurs niveaux. Elles permettent de comprendre le rapport que le sujet entretient avec lui-même, avec l’autre, et avec son héritage familial.Cairn restricted access |
