| الملخص: | Research in the field of information and communication science (ICS) has always refused to analyze the communication process as a whole in Africa. It has just considered the mass media, a diffusionist vision of signs, ignoring the hidden communication that takes place between the visible and the invisible. This work focuses on “crypto-communication,” perceived as a process of transferring messages between the dead and the living. It attempts, through observation and surveys, to show how the forest peoples in Cameroon extend social relations in a different way than through grief and memory. Consequently, it will focus on the notion of communication devices in order to appreciate the funerary discourses and rituals that break with the idea of an inaccessible beyond. |
