If the arrival of these young migrants is underpinned by a lack of welcome and flow management, how can we make room for their subjectivity, symptomatology and suffering? The article begins by reviewing the context of the arrival and reception of unaccompanied minors, followed by some thoughts on how these children can be welcomed in these different temporalities. Finally, the article reflects on the eminently political act of welcoming unaccompanied minors and questions our clinical and civic commitments. |
