| Streszczenie: | Building on fragmented corporate entrepreneurship (CE) research that treats ecosystems and incumbent–startup relationships (ISR) as separate domains, this study adopts a four-dimensional ecosystem approach (i.e., structural, interactional, spatial, and temporal) to connect them. This first systematic review of 477 peer-reviewed articles (1993-2024) reveals uneven attention to these dimensions as well as conceptual, theoretical, and methodological gaps. In response, this study offers a definition of ISR, shifting from the dynamic core of CE to ecosystem coordination mechanisms and proposes a comprehensive ISR input–output framework. The study sets a robust, forward-looking agenda that promotes conceptual convergence, theoretical integration, and methodological pluralism. Practical implications are discussed.
