Description
Résumé:Maltreatment of the neonates and young children under the age of three is a little-recognized subject in the health sector, (whether in maternity, pediatrics or child psychiatry), and almost unknown in the social, medico-social and legal sectors. It is rarely identified on the basis of literature data. Yet abuse suffered at an early age has a lifelong impact in all areas of life.Based on the ecosystemic model and a holistic approach, the authors propose a literature review. They extract validated and cross-referenced characteristics from meta-analyses. They select those defined in the most solid studies, which can then be used as determinants. The final table has a validity linked to the cross-referencing between determinants corresponding to each level. The aim would be for clinical and research work to be able to draw on this preliminary work to launch an identification policy enabling genuine prevention and the implementation of multidisciplinary interventions.
