Tóm tắt:Out of loyalty to its roots in phenomenology but by practicing the phenomenological restitution (instead of the phenomenological reduction), this paper chooses to observe three “object-horizons”: wild thought, science and knowledge. It examines and revisits in its philosophical foundation the rehabilitation of wild thought by Lévi-Strauss. The author believes that people interested in African ancestral knowledge should consider the performances of Griaule, Tempels and Kagame as notable contributions. Because, if Rousseau, Bergson and Sartre thought as the so-called savages of the past and the present still do, it is time for each of us to get rid of the “residual savagery” and the complex of ignorance that lurk within us in order to courageously and methodically grasp the idea of knowledge-of-the-land to turn it into an operational concept. This is what we need if we wish to re-appropriate all these “know-how-to-be”, “know-how-to-do” and “know-how-to say” of our respective lands.
