Opis
Streszczenie:The author defines gender violence as that which targets the feminine in women or the masculine in men. The uniqueness of the victim, his desire and consequently his freedom are targeted. It recalls the difference between femininity and womanhood, the nature of this violence (from physical and/or psychological harm to murder) and the situations in which it manifests itself, including same-sex couples or tyrannical children. This perspective sheds light on intra-family violence in general. The author then studies the place of gender in the intersubjective functioning of the link to highlight the pathological singularity and the therapeutic nature of these deviations. It appears that the attack extends to links to third parties of the victim, both hated and feared, envied and admired. To the extent that destruction and self-destruction occur simultaneously, respect for gender difference is confirmed as one of the pivots of psychic functioning. Two clinical cases, a couple’s analytical therapy and an analysis illustrate these ideas.
