| Riassunto: | Abstract: This article analyzes the major works of Armeno-Byzantinist Nina G. Garsoïan, characterized by her researches into Iranian influence in Armenian society and the original constitution of the Armenian Church. Her knowledge has led to the monumental rehabilitation of the Buzandaran PatmutꜤiwnkꜤ (Epic Histories), a compilation from the 5th century AD, which ultimately constitutes the great achievement of her studies. All this helps to define the work of a scholar whose main goal was to understand “the formation of Christian Armenia” (Garsoïan 2010). |
