Description
Résumé:This article examines the relationship between obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and rituals through the CESAME systemic model. It highlights how rituals, which are typically beneficial, can become compulsive and alienating in the context of OCD, creating a self-regulating system of phobic perceptions and control actions. The CESAME approach, which integrates the cognitive, emotional, somatic, and environmental dimensions of human experience, offers a systemic and targeted perspective on the treatment of OCD. It elucidates the underlying mechanisms of these complex behaviors by exploring the dynamic interactions between the individual and their environment, thereby facilitating the loosening of rigid perceptions and the restoration of a more functional life balance.
