The oscillation between a paranoid pseudo-raitonal pole and a disorganizing rage in Hitler’s language and Heidegger’s philosophy paved the way for mass murders, which we tried to conceal. Contemporary jihadism also operates according to this paradoxical logic, further amplified by the spectacularization of the atrocities committed. The event of October 7, 2023, could well mark a historic turning point in the evolution of the current malaise in culture, where everything that has not been sufficiently analyzed from the past resurfaces with renewed intensity. |
