Zusammenfassung:This study analyses the transformations in French organisational communication between 2015 and 2025, based on 87 defended PhD theses. The hypothesis is that this decade, marked by societal changes and internal restructuring within the information and communication sciences, is simultaneously transforming the field’s epistemological orientations and thematic focus and contributing to its hybridisation. The qualitative thematic analysis shows that organisational communication is less a field defined by its specific subjects than an approach present across many areas of the discipline. This cross-disciplinary nature is its strength but raises questions about its visibility.
