| Sažetak: | The resurgence of Arab nationalism On a regular basis, the western press announces the death of an Arab nationalist ideology. This is nothing new. The phenomenon began at the end of the 1970’s in the United States and has continued to this day. The relations of the West with the Arab nationalist movement have always been marked by distrust, even hostility, a fact that is actually paradoxical given that the Arab nationalists have never hidden their sympathy to the values proclaimed during the American Revolution since Jefferson, up through Woodrow Wilson and J.F. Kennedy, including those from the French Revolution ! The goal of this article is to present the developments that have taken place within the ideology of the Arab nationalist movement since the death of Nasser in 1970. |
