Yhteenveto:Public order management appears to be departing from a model based on the dispersion of demonstrators by using force in favour of a model targeting a better balance of rights. Is this also true in France? The French policing regime has undergone considerable change over the last ten years considering both police tactics and their codification, as well as the number of demonstrator deaths, mutilations and injuries. However, it can be difficult to compare between periods since the events they witness are of a varying nature. To measure differences between homogenous phenomena, a comparison between the movements of 2010 and 2023 against the pension reform is proposed. The results of this comparison show that violence has escalated during policing between these two dates.
