| সংক্ষিপ্ত: | Starting from the nineteenth century, Sulina, a small harbour in the Romanian Danube Delta, fascinates with its central and peripheral characteristics, evolving from a small fishing village into a thriving economic and commercial hub, attracting new settlers from around the world. As Greeks represented the most significant ethnic group, they recreated the world of the Greek islands here, so that the image of Ithaca is often found in Sulina, constantly oscillating between dislocation, rupture, and newly created land. Through a geopoetic approach, the present paper aims to trace the reverberations of the island and the echoes of cosmogony in the poetry of the Greek poet Nana Kountouri (born in 1936), which is scattered with maritime topoi, and to contextualize her poetry within the literary landscape. |
