Résumé:The Farce des Quiolards is probably the last Norman farce to have been published. It is unusual in that most of it is written in the Rouen dialect. For a long time it was thought that Molière might have been influenced by it, but close examination of the conditions under which the farce was published shows that the opposite was true. A critical edition of the text is proposed.
