要約:This article summarizes the findings of a study conducted on two half-timbered buildings in Bayeux carried out as part of a university degree. The main aim was to ascertain whether the fourteenth-century date previously put forward for the corner building could be confirmed, as the chronological proposals differed by almost two centuries depending on the authors. Analysis of the buildings revealed the existence of earlier buildings on the plots, elements of which have been preserved and reused in the current structure. Thanks to a dendrochronological study, it was possible to determine the date of construction of the corner house (1502–1503d), and a study of the neighboring building helped to clarify its dating and its links with the adjoining house.
