| Sumario: | The current battles against ecocidal infrastructure projects, from megabasins to motorways, are directly inspired by the long, emblematic and… victorious experience built up against the airport project at Notre-Dame-des-Landes. They take up and update its achievements: the diversity of methods of action and the unity of the components of the struggle, self-organisation and democracy, creativity and the search for coherence between goals and means. In a different political and social moment, with new generations, today’s struggles are also the product of the difficulties and contradictions of the climate movement and, more generally, of the social movement. Through their concrete practices, they are contributing new elements to the strategic thinking that is essential to rebuilding the tools and prospects for emancipation. |
