Hence the interest of an examination of the current renewal of normative political philosophies, in the light of the Marxian critique of the political. In many respects, authors such as Habermas or Rawls have endeavoured to take up the challenge of the critique of the political. Despite this, for want of an adequate thematisation of the moral experience of the oppressed, such thinkers remain unable to integrate within their discourse the claims of those excluded from the political realm. |
