| Streszczenie: | There is no modem ethic which is not connected to the notion of individuality (of the "person"). Likewise, there is no notion of individuality whose authority and value do not derive from a more general theory of ethics. All twentieth century formulations of ethics end up in a fetishised, bloated conception of individuality, taken to be the original "anthropological" form of man. Marx and the Marxists do in fact prove the contrary: that is, individuality is not an abstract prior form, nor is it an immediate given or starting-point; rather it is the pour soi, the "for itself", which gradually takes form, by way of the conscious acts, choices, and alternatives of man in the course of the objective process of the social being. |
