| সংক্ষিপ্ত: | This article deals with the unfolding of the imperial state in the USA. In light of Hegel’s binary formula about the prospects of the concentration of state power in North America, under the impulse of both national (social) and foreign antagonisms, the author analyses the actual historical process. He describes the evolution from the weak federal state of the XIXth century into the modern Leviathan as a result of both impulses, reaching their climax when they combined during WW2, i. e. when war mobilization took over from the Keynesian efforts of the New Deal and led to the formation of a worldwide US empire. |
