| Sammanfattning: | Using an analytical and historical approach, D.L. investigates the problems linked with the idea of equality: those of material equality found in the democratic and communist traditions and those linked with equality before the law of classical liberalism. Using Hegel and Marx, L.D. defines equality as the essential unity of humankind or as the universality of man. Equality in this sense is the foundation of human rights. But it is a universality historically constructed as a second nature: it has no foundation in a myth of an original state of nature. |
