Résumé:The contradiction between interindividual and central contractuality is the most fundamental contradiction in modern society, and the precondition of class antagonism. It is reflected into the paradigm of "social contract", which was eventually rejected by Liberalism and more surprisingly ignored by Marx, although it represents, with its structural relation to the plan and market problem, the necessary (if insufficient and ambiguous) reference for a political theory of socialism.
