| Özet: | Losurdo stresses the fundamental limitations of the classical liberal thought : the fact that it ignores the universal concept of Man, both in relation to wage-earners and to colonised peoples. Other trends in bourgeois political thought - Hegel and the Rousseauistic-Jacobinic tradition - as well as the Socialist and Marxist trend gave birth to this concept as well as to a theory of freedom which refuses to sever freedom from equality. The concept of "economic and social rights" which is vindicated by the liberal-democratic and socialdemocratic thought takes into account substance as well as form and, as such, is rejected by Hayek's neo-conservatism. |
