The site of Capes only lists a few influential international titles. Included in this list are “Information Processing & Management, Organization Knowledge and Library” but several other important titles in Information Science are not covered. Our study describes 27 scientific worldwide journals, representing the world stage in Information Science, and which for some reason are not well respected in Brazil. The influence of these international journals (which are part of Web of Science) is evidenced by measuring the power they have in the scientific field of Information Science as well as the power of major authors (Salton, Spink, Nicholas, Belkin, Saracevic, Dervin, Garfield and others). Citation index comparison with the other journals in the area and index of impact factor are also analyzed. The results highlight the importance of JASIST, Information Processing & Management, College Research Library, Journal of Documentation, ARIST, Journal Information Sciences, Information Retrieval and Library Trends, both in the matter of world representativeness and in the number of citations. Cet article vise à qualifier les revues scientifiques qui font partie du listing Qualis/Capes Brésil. Le site du Capes énumère seulement quelques titres ayant une influence internationale. Inclus dans cette liste il y a : traitement et gestion des informations, organisation du savoir et bibliothèque mais plusieurs titres importants dans le domaine des Sciences de l’Information n’entrent pas dans cette liste. Notre étude décrit 27 revues scientifiques du monde entier représentant la scène mondiale dans le domaine des Sciences de l’Information et qui pour certaines raisons ne sont pas bien respectées au Brésil. L’ influence de ces revues internationales ,qui font partie du Web of Science, est confirmée par le fait de mesurer le pouvoir qu’elles ont dans le domaine des Sciences de l’Information ainsi que le pouvoir des auteurs importants comme Salton, Spink, Nicholas, Belkin,Saracevic, Dervin, Garfield et d’autres encore. L’index de citation compare avec les autres revues dans le domaine et l’index de facteur d’impact sont également analyses. Les résultats soulignent l’importance de JASIST, traitement et gestion des informations, College Research Library, Revue de Documentation, ARIST, Revue des Sciences de l’Information, Recherche de l’Information et Tendances des Bibliothèques, les deux dans la question de la représentativité mondiale et dans le nombre de citations. |
