Dans le cadre du séminaire ACT (Anglophone Contemporary Theatre) organisé par Marianne Drugeon (Laboratoire EMMA, université Paul Valéry-Montpellier 3), Emeline Jouve et Sophie Maruéjouls-Koch (Laboratoire CAS, université Jean Jaurès-Toulouse 2), il a accepté de discuter de son travail autour de Shepard, qui a débuté en 2014 avec l’adaptation de cinq nouvelles extraites du recueil A mi-chemin et s’est poursuivi jusqu’en 2022 avec la mise en scène de Fool for Love, dernier volet de sa trilogie Shepardienne. Jean Paul Bibé adapted and staged Fool for Love at the Grand Rond theatre (Toulouse) in March 2022. Following his participation in a theatre seminar (Anglophone Contemporary Theatre) organized by Marianne Drugeon (Montpellier-Paul Valéry University), Emeline Jouve and Sophie Maruéjouls-Koch (Toulouse-Jean Jaurès University), he accepted to talk about his work on Shepard which started in 2014 with his adaptation of five short stories from the collection Great Dream of Heaven and ended in 2022 with his staging of Fool for Love as the last chapter in his Shepardian trilogy. |
