L’article se propose donc d’étudier les modalités selon lesquelles la figure de Colomb a été recyclée, c’est-à-dire, utilisée différemment selon le contexte historique de la mise en scène. Christopher Columbus isn’t a movie character. Between 1904 and 2007, we list only fourteen movies dedicated to him. In this treatment, the cinema has widely used the historiographical vision. Columbus is seens as an interstitial figure, embodying at the same time the end of the Middle Ages and the beginning of the modern time. This article suggests studying the modalities according to which the character of Columbus was recycled, how he was differently used according to the historic context of the direction. |
