Thus, two aspects will be particularly scrutinized: the positioning of cinema closer to or farther from other art forms, and the twofold approach to the history of film theory, often structured around two fundamental axes: formalism and realism. Cet article vise à revisiter des aspects de la théorie cinématographique classique, avec une attention particulière au début du cinéma et aux approches de Ricciotto Canudo, dans le but d’éclaircir certaines controverses et d’approfondir certains débats, qui, aujourd'hui encore, ne semblent pas avoir été complètement surmontés. Ainsi, deux aspects seront particulièrement explorés : l'oscillation entre rapprochement et éloignement du cinéma par rapport aux autres manifestations artistiques et l'approche bipartite de la théorie du cinéma à travers le temps, organisée autour de deux axes fondamentaux, le formaliste et le réaliste. |
