La réflexion sur les notions d’habitant et d’espace public est au cœur du dossier. Il s’agit de s’intéresser à la parole des habitants quand elle est mobilisée pour exprimer la cité et les pratiques de la ville en analysant particulièrement les dispositifs de communication dans la production, la circulation et le partage des représentations pour dire sa ville et se dire dans la ville. Il s’agit aussi d’étudier la manière dont les figures et les paroles d’habitants sont convoqués ou mobilisées dans différents médias. If urban questions cover multiple disciplines, the focus of this issue takes a communicational perspective by analyzing the mechanisms that allow the production, expression, and constitution of memories, imagination, and interpretations of city dwellers or those that make reference to them. Thinking about the notions of inhabitant and public space is at the heart of this theme. It focuses on the word of inhabitants when used to express the city and its customs, in particular by analyzing communication mechanisms in the production, circulation, and sharing of representations of one’s city or of being in the city. We also study the manner in which the figure and words of inhabitants are used in various media.
