These may be the most important questions that motivated us, editors of this volume of Comunicação e Sociedade, to propose a discussion on the noteworthiness of participation, and to invite scholars from across the globe to present their perspectives on what a positive and meaningful approach towards participation means to them. The result of this long process is this journal issue, entitled “Rescuing participation”... Por que é que a participação é relevante? O que se entende quando o conceito é usado? Como podemos garantir uma utilização do termo “participação” de um modo responsável e com significado nos diferentes espaços da sociedade? Estas são, provavelmente, as questões mais importantes que nos motivaram, editores desta edição da revista Comunicação e Sociedade, a propor uma discussão sobre a relevância da participação e a convidar académicos de todo o mundo a apresentar diferentes perspetivas a partir de uma abordagem positiva e significativa sobre esta realidade. O resultado deste longo processo é este volume da revista, intitulado “Resgatar a participação”... |
