Το άρθρο προτείνει µια νέα εξέταση της FD III 2, 106 µε σκοπό να προσδώσει την ορθή ταυτότητα στον Αθηναίο Πυλάδη, γνωστό και ως Ολύµπιο. Η έµµετρη µεταγραφή του δελφικού κειµένου που του αποδίδει την ιθαγένεια ήταν, ήδη από την πρώτη έκδοση, η απαρχή της σύγχυσης που δηµιουργήθηκε γύρω από αυτόν τον πολίτη, ο οποίος ενδιαφερόταν ιδιαιτέρως για διακρίσεις – δεν αρκέστηκε στη συνήθη περίληψη – µετατρέποντάς τον σε παντόµιµο που τιµήθηκε για τις παραστάσεις του στην Ολυµπία και τους Δελφούς και που ως τέτοιος καταχωρήθηκε στους επαγγελµατικούς και εθνικούς προσωπογραφικούς καταλόγους. This article proposes a new examination of FD III 2, 106 aiming to identify the Athenian Pylades also called Olympios. The verse transcription of the decree of Delphi granting him citizenship was, from the first publication, the source of confusion surrounding this citizen, who keenly sought recognition – he did not limit himself to the banal summary commonly used – making of him a pantomime honored for his performances at Olympia and Delphi and duly registered as such in the professional and ethnic prosopographical catalogues. |
