While they are united by transdisciplinary approaches, the articles are also grouped into thematic clusters: 1) Crossovers: the Visual Arts, 2) Poetic Convergences, and 3) Real and Imaginary Meetings. This collection brings out the complexity and heterogeneity of cultural phenomena and demonstrates the porosity of categories such as the social, the affective, the aesthetic or the technical. Les douze articles rassemblés dans ce numéro de Anglophonia/Caliban sont structurés autour de la notion de carrefour. Ils explorent ainsi diverses modalités d’intersection entre l’histoire, la géographie, la politique et les arts. Tous partagent une même approche interdisciplinaire. Cependant, pour le confort du lecteur, ils sont organisés en trois sections thématiques : 1) Croisements autour des arts visuels, 2) Convergences poétiques, 3)  Rencontres réelles et imaginées. Ces diverses contributions exposent ainsi la complexité et l’hétérogénéité des phénomènes culturels et mettent en exergue la porosité de catégories telles que le social, l’affectif, l’esthétique ou le technique.
