This transformation prompts us to rethink traditional theories in the light of this new reality, where the analytical space is dematerialized without losing its transformative power. Ethical issues, particularly in terms of confidentiality and intimacy, are heightened in this digital context, requiring increased vigilance and new skills for practitioners. Far from simply transposing traditional practice, these developments open up new perspectives on the construction of identity and subjectivity in an interconnected—or even hyper-connected—world. Psychoanalysis is thus faced with the challenge of preserving its specific practical and ethical characteristics while adapting to contemporary ways of being and relating, reaffirming its relevance in exploring the unconscious in the digital age.La prolifération du numérique depuis plusieurs décennies ont profondément reconfiguré l’espace psychothérapeutique, questionnant les fondements mêmes de la pratique psychanalytique en l’invitant à essayer des modalités online. Dans cet espace virtuel, les notions de présence, de corps et de cadre thérapeutique se trouvent redéfinies, bouleversant les dynamiques transférentielles et les processus de symbolisation. Cette mutation invite à repenser les théories classiques à l’aune de cette nouvelle réalité, où l’espace analytique se dématérialise sans pour autant perdre sa puissance transformatrice. Les enjeux éthiques, notamment en termes de confidentialité et d’intimité, s’intensifient dans ce contexte numérique, exigeant une vigilance accrue et des compétences nouvelles à acquérir pour les praticiens. Cette évolution, loin de simplement transposer la pratique traditionnelle, ouvre de nouvelles perspectives sur la construction identitaire et la subjectivité dans un monde interconnecté voire hyperconnecté.
