Is it possible to use the phrase “history of nature” in a strict sense? Does the word “history” mean the same thing when it refers to nature and when it refers to humanity? We argue that both questions should be answered positively and suggest to what extent Kant’s texts on history can be reconsidered from that point of view, and with an eye towards the transformation of the concept of history.
