In order to insure her good name and contribute to a common peace, the Princess must show wisdom and moderation. The author stresses how, while conforming to the traditional image of womankind, humility and submission, she can acquire her own power. The use of guile and total self-control, in gesture as well as in word, will enable her to act as she wishes while receiving the approbation of her entourage.
