If Potvin’s arguments are valid, they must according to their own logic include the Enseignement in the corpus of texts written by the same author. Once this is established, the reasons speaking in favour of Hugues clearly outnumber those in favour of Guillebert. The paper argues that Hugues de Lannoy is the author of Enseignement de vraie noblesse.
