In this trajectory, we can identify four periods. After the “discipline’s pre-history” with an ingenuous comparatism, the “pre-institutionalization” and the “institutionalization” with the foundation of the Argentine Comparative Literature Association (1992), and the systematic organization of National Congresses, the last period, the actual “post-institutionalization” is characterized by the creation of new centres and areas of specialized research, the publication of diverse academic publications about the discipline, and the larger availability of graduate programmes of study in Comparative Literature.En este artículo nos proponemos describir el recorrido de la Literatura Comparada en la Argentina desde su independencia (1810) hasta la actualidad. En dicho recorrido pueden identificarse cuatro períodos. Después de la “pre-historia” de la disciplina, con un comparatismo considerado ingenuo, su “pre-institucionalización” y su “institucionalición” con la fundación de la Asociación Argentina de Literatura Comparada en 1992 y la celebración periódica de Jornadas Nacionales, el cuarto y último período, es decir, la actual “post-institucionalización” se caracteriza con el surgimiento de nuevos centros y áreas de investigación especializados, publicaciones académicas y la ampliación de la oferta de formación en Literatura Comparada a nivel de posgrado.Cairn restricted access |
