| Shrnutí: | This article describes the path followed by Comparative Literature studies
in Argentina, from 1810, when the nation achieved its independence (1810) until
the present. In this trajectory, we can identify four periods. After the “discipline’s
pre-history” with an ingenuous comparatism, the “pre-institutionalization” and the
“institutionalization” with the foundation of the Argentine Comparative Literature
Association (1992), and the systematic organization of National Congresses, the
last period, the actual “post-institutionalization” is characterized by the creation of new centres and areas of specialized research, the publication of diverse
academic publications about the discipline, and the larger availability of graduate
programmes of study in Comparative Literature. |
