Le thème de la création est au centre des trois textes qui, s’appuyant sur les réflexions théologiques et philosophiques de cette époque, font de l’homme-créateur un participant à la création inachevée du monde.Unachieved creation : sacramental poetics of mystery in the thirties Through the analysis of three Christian dramas, D. L. Sayers’s The Zeal of Thy House, P. Claudel’s Le Livre de Christophe Colomb and E. Kouzmina-Karavaeva’s Anna, this paper studies the particularities of contemporary mystery poetics : founded on a medieval model, it grows with a modern problematic, interiorising and opening towards the new dramaturgic and scenographic ideas of a “time of experimentations” (simultaneity, system of citations, communication with the spectator). The theme of creation stands in the centre of the three texts. They base themselves on the theological and philosophical ideas of that time which make Man an artisan of the unachieved creation of the world.Cairn free access |
