Since its launch, the NGFS has been actively contributing to efforts to take climate risks into account and green the financial system, thanks to a method based on collaboration and experience-sharing between its members and with its partners. This method aims first and foremost to better understand the interdependencies between the financial system and nature in the broadest sense, in order to integrate climate and environmental (C&E) risks into the missions of central banks and supervisors, and, more generally, to mobilize financial players to support the transition to a lowcarbon and more sustainable economy. Cairn restricted access
