Beskrivelse
Summary:A “carbon price” is a powerful economic incentive to decarbonize existing economic capital, and redirect financial flows towards the development and deployment of low-carbon technologies. But such a carbon price does not exist uniformly across the globe, even though most capital, goods, and services flow easily around the world. In Europe, where the carbon price is high, a new system of carbon adjustment at the border will gradually be put in place to try to neutralize the perverse effects of this incomplete pricing.
