description In this research, we aim to discuss the relationship between crisis and women's entrepreneuring, in order to highlight how women sometimes seize these unstable moments. This article thus seeks to strengthen the more or less dense relationships maintained between entrepreneuring and crisis, and to address the following research question: How can crisis shape a becoming-entrepreneur? Our objective is to offer a reading of the becoming-entrepreneur, emphasizing the role played by multiple crisis, which, over time, allow us to grasp trajectories and entrepreneurial bifurcations within entrepreneuring. This article aims to highlight the importance of the subjective representation of crisis, adopting a processual perspective on becoming an entrepreneur. A phenomenological methodology is adopted to explore two unique cases of women entrepreneurs. The fine-grained analysis of these two narratives reveals the various encounters, events in the Deleuzian sense, and crisis along their path. Our research findings show how it is possible to engage with—and even transcend—crisis, and to construct oneself in relation to them. Finally, we discuss the contribution of considering temporality and trajectories to the spatial and affective logics—sometimes sinuous—that emerge through the shocks and their internal resonance with crisis. The relationship to the world and the subjectivity of the woman entrepreneur allow us to grasp the amplitude of the crisis as a sounding board. This subjective reading of the entrepreneurial journey, which we have sought to convey in our results, invites us to move beyond a static interpretation of entrepreneurship. It encourages us to highlight the reciprocal relationship between the entrepreneur, her environment, and her “relation to the world,” in order to capture the interweaving of entrepreneuring and becoming an entrepreneur.

It encourages us to highlight the reciprocal relationship between the entrepreneur, her environment, and her “relation to the world,” in order to capture the interweaving of entrepreneuring and becoming an entrepreneur. Cairn restricted access
