Generally speaking, access to the contract is not subject to any prior financial requirement. The contractual commitment is based on the principle of autonomy of will. The practice of standard contracts for the sale of cocoa and coffee, which require producers to make an upfront payment, rightly constitutes an excepted case, without any legal basis, and confirms the abuse of economic and the imbalance between the parties in these contracts
